"I have always loved animals and have been keeping them since I was 8 years old but life took over and I got busy. During college I rekindled my love for keeping reptiles and wanted to make it a permanent thing for the rest of my life but when I had shoulder surgery I couldn't clean out the tanks as much as I should have. That's when I met Chuy. He showed me the bioactive side of the hobby and I showed him the feeder side of it. That's what brought fourth the idea of Featured Creatures. That was back in 2019 and now I'm  just striving to make this company a pillar within the hobby." - Jaden 2024

”I have loved reptiles and animals in general since middle school when I was looking at the National Geographic magazines. At 13 I got my first gecko and at 17 when I broke my leg skateboarding I focused my attention on the gecko and how to make its enclosure look more like its natural habitat. My love for plants got me into a rabbit hole of bioactive terrariums. Ever since any reptile I got I made its enclosure bioactive. Jaden introduced me to my first dubia roach colony and how to breed them and we saw the potential to start a business. During the pandemic we decided to launch Featured Creatures and try to create a business that can make sure everyone can afford to enjoy the hobby” -Chuy 2024
